Robin began his lighting career in New Zealand at the Mercury Theatre, Auckland, 1986, journeying to England via the Banff School for the Arts in 1991.
He has lit countless theatre productions spanning drama, opera, musicals and dance across NZ, UK including London’s West End and Europe.

Recently he has enjoyed re-imagining his original design for Glyndebourne’s “Tristan und Isolde” 17 years after it was first created, and lighting shows for Onewhero Society of Performing Arts (OSPA), winning several Zony awards for lighting and set design.
